PURPOSE:To offer a high speed, low-priced space sum of products calculating device by selecting and synthesizing N-pieces of picture element data stored at continuous positions and load coefficient specifying information of a load coefficient matrix to be multiplied and applying them to a multiplier constituted of a RAM. CONSTITUTION:Picture element data of one scope stored in a frame memory 1 is sequentially read out and transmitted to registers 4, 3 and 2. A coefficient selecting circuit 5 sends sequentially a signal selecting the load coefficient multiplying the picture element data to registers 8, 7 and 6. Multiplexers 13, 12 and 11 synthesize the picture element data with the selecting signal, which is taken for the input signals of multipliers 16, 15 and 14 composed of RAMs. Since the picture element data and the multiplied result of the load coefficient are previously written in the RAM by means of a processor 9 through data buses 20, 21 and 22, the RAM output turns out the multiplied output as it is, multiplied by an adder 17, a shift register 19 and a gate 18, and outputted to the frame memory. |
