In the case of this pipe connection, the pipe end part (5) is compressed by cold deformation in zones by means of a compression ring (4), which is to be displaced axially, to produce a positively-locking, sealed connection to a connecting stub (1), which is inserted into the pipe end part, of a pipe moulding (2). A sleeve (3) which can be pushed onto the pipe end part is provided with an annular outer bead (7) and is deformed while the compression ring is being pressed on in such a manner that the sleeve material is displaced radially inwards in the bead zone (8), the pipe end part and the connecting stub being recessed (9) in an annular shape. In addition, at its rear end, the compression ring (4) has an annular inner bead (10) which at the same time displaces the sleeve material radially inwards at the rear end of the sleeve, as a result of which further compression takes place at the end (12) of the connecting stub (1). The gap between the pipe and the connecting stub is thus sealed so that no gap corrosion can occur. <IMAGE> |
