Earthed grids of strong plates are fitted with clearance on the walls and roof of a housing. The plates are orientated at an angle towards the sum so that when it is high in the sky its radiation is not allowed to enter, but when it is close to the horizon the radiation is permitted access. A further grid or network is fitted on the side of the main grid facing the housing, and is of thin wire. On the outermost side of the screening facing the housing is a plate which is light-painted on the side turned towards the grid. The main grids are made of cut netting of so-called stretch metal.
