PURPOSE:To aim at enhancing the performance of an absorption pump and as well to reduce the heat-loss of the pump, by forming a pump body from aluminum alloy which has a satisfactory heat efficiency, and as well by connecting a part connected to a vacuum device with the body through a heat-insulating section made of such as, for example, ceramics. CONSTITUTION:A attaching plate 5 is secured to the free end face of a support ring 4 which is fitted with inner and outer containers 1, 2 which is made of aluminum alloy and spaced from each other such that they define therebetween a passage 3. A pipe 6 which is connected with a vacuum system and which is attached to the center section of the attaching plate 5, is connected to a pipe 10 through a tubular heat insulating member 9 made of such as, for example, ceramics, within the inner container 2. With this arrangement in which the pump body is made of aluminum alloy, the characteristics of the pump may be enhanced. Further since the heat insulating part is disposed in the connecting section for the vacuum system, heat loss is reduced, and as well the incorporation of the pump into the vacuum system utilizing aluminum alloy may be made possible. |
