PURPOSE:To provide a light permeable film heater which is of a self-control type, by a method wherein a light permeable conductive film is formed on a light permeable base plate, electrode films for energization are respectively formed at both edges of the conductive film, and a PTC thermistor film is formed between the one of the electrode films and the conductive film. CONSTITUTION:A light permeable conductive film 2, having a given resistance value, is formed on a base plate 1 made of soda glass, such as car rear windows. Electrode films 3a and 3b for energization are respectively formed on the two eges of the conductive film 2, and a PTC thermistor film 4 is formed between the one electrode film 3a and the conductive film 2. In which case, the conductive film 2 forms an ITO film which is formed by doping zinc oxide in indium oxide, the thermistor film 4 is formed by spattering a barium stearate series porcelain semiconductor by means of high frequency, and the electrode films 3a and 3b are formed by depositing either platinum, nickle, or indium by means of electronic beam. |
