<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an automatic chip removing device which can be incorporated into a flexible manufacture system by providing an air-blow nozzle which is movable in three axial directions, a horizontally rotatable index table, and a pallet identifying device. CONSTITUTION:All the operations of a solenoid valve 4e for a pallet identifying device 4, the motors 6Z, 6Y, 6X of a nozzle holding member 6, a solenoid valve 5q for a nozzle 5, a solenoid valve 7a for a nozzle rotating member 7, and a rotating device for an index table 3, are controlled by a control unit 8. The whole operations for each type of workpiece 2 are stored in the control unit 8 and, when the pallet identifying device 4 is operated to detect the type of a workpiece from the identification mark 1a of a pallet 1, a signal corresponding to that type is sent to the control unit 8, to access a required program.</p> |
