<p>A simple compact actuator mechanism for converting pivoting motion to planar motion is disclosed. The mechanism comprises a housing supporting a handle shaft for pivoting motion and supportiog a disc for planar sliding motion. The disc is connected to the shaft at a point spaced from the pivot point whereby pivoting of the shaft causes translation of the disc.</p> |
