PURPOSE:To eliminate danger by eliminating thoroughly the foam in a liquid crystal cell generated by insufficient filling, reducing the time for injecting said liquid crystal and forming the device so as to meet the requirements specified for the class 2 pressure vessel. CONSTITUTION:The air in a liquid crystal 30 is evacuated through an injecting port 31 for a liquid crystal and thereafter a valve 42 is opened and a pulse motor 52 is run to rise a base 48 for installing a supply tank. When the base is stopped where the level of the liquid crystal is slightly above the alternate long and short dash line 53 shown in the figure, the liquid crystal 54 passes 41 and 42 and flows toward a nozzle for supplying the liquid crystal. A cassette table 33 is thereafter lowered to immerse the port 31 into the liquid crystal 40. A ball valve 23 and the valve 42 are closed in this state and a variable leak valve 26 is gradually opened to increase the pressure in a pressure vessel 21. The valve 27 is opened upon attainment of the atm. pressure to introduce the nitrogen in a nitrogen bomb 28 into the vessel 21. Pressure is exerted to the liquid crystal 40 by which the liquid crystal is successively introduced through the port for injecting the liquid crystal into the cell 4. |
