PURPOSE:To enable reproduction of mixed colors of optional dot % to exact colors in short time by placing respectively movably color display films on a printing platen and generating pulse signals according to the movement of the films. CONSTITUTION:Plural number of color display films having dot display parts formed to 0-100 dot % by ink colors are respectively movably superposed on a printing paper platen and pulse signals are generated according to the movement of the display films. Dot % are displayed from the pulse signals and the dot % of respective colors and the colors printed by said dot % are simulated on printing paper from said dot %. More specifically, the dot % of Y, M, C, K are displayed respectively by display devices 85-88 and the dot display parts of color display films 11-14 printed into halftone by respective inks are superposed on the printing paper 51. The colors simulated by adjusting knobs 35-38 are made visible via convex lenses 95, 96 by a viewer mechanism 90. The mixed colors of optional dot % are thus reproduced to exact colors in short time. |
