PURPOSE:To realize reeling a cord round a projection part and sheltering it by means of a main body cover by providing the projection part in the central part of a base plate and also providing a desk lamp main body through fixing an erect wall on the upper face of the projection part and further fitting a main body cover in vertically sliding configuration along the erect wall. CONSTITUTION:A desk lamp is provided with a grip 1 on the top, while its main body cover 2, with the open lower part reaching as far as a base plate 3, is equipped with an on-and-off switch 4 on its one part. In this case, a cylindrical projection part 6 which has the height required for reeling a cord 5 is provided in the central part of the base plate 3. Further, an erect wall 9, equipped with an engagement piece 8 which has the outward looking tip, is provided on the periphery of the bottom of a stand main body 7 fixed on the upper face of the projection part 6, while a fitting plate 12 for a socket 11 equipped with an electric bulb 10 is provided on the erect wall 9. On the other hand, a convex part 13 engaging with the lower end of the engagement piece 8 is provided on the internal face of the main body cover 2. Thus, the main body cover 2 is held up and exposes the projection part 6 to reel the cord 5 round said part 6. |
