PURPOSE:To confirm the carrying-in of a workpiece regardless of its shape by making the combination of a light source and a light switch stop at a position where these are brought near an auxiliary appliance and enabling the confirmation of a workpiece by means of a light interrupting signal at the time when said workpiece is carried in. CONSTITUTION:A detecting body 3 consisting of a light source and a light switch is brought near an auxiliary oppliance 2, and is retracted at a low speed from a position where light is interrupted. The detecting body is again stopped at a position where light is detected as in the figure (c), and is brought close to the anxiliary appliance 2 to the very limit. Next, a workpiece 1 is carried into the anxiliary appliance 2, and the adequacy of the carrying-in operation can be confirmed since the light is interrupted by the workpiece 1. The inadequacy of the carrying-in operation can also be detected since the light is not interrupted. |
