PURPOSE:To reduce fading of a copy without causing stains, etc. on the background by incorporating thiourea dioxide in a photosensitive layer in a 2-component type diazo copying paper having the photosensitive layer contg. a diazo compd. and a coupling component. CONSTITUTION:An intended 2-component type diazo copying paper is obtained by dissolving or dispersing a diazo compd., such as a double salt of 4-diazo-4, 4-dimethylaniline chloride and zinc chloride, and a coupling component, such as sodium 2,3-dihydroxynaphthalene-6-sulfonate, and thiourea dioxide in an amt. of 0.5-10pts.wt, per 1pt.wt. of the diazo compd. in a proper solvent, coating a support with said soln. or dispersion in a coating amt. of 0.5-2 attached solid per m<2>, and drying it. Further, a preservability improver, an antioxidant, and acid stabilizer, saponin, etc. may be added to said photosensitive layer. |
