PURPOSE:To perform almost perfect gas-liquid separation without including the pressure loss of gas, by passing a liquid containing gas through a primary gas- liquid separation part due to the alteration of a flowline and the secondary gas- liquid separation part due to the alteration of a low flow speed flowline of the gas-liquid separation apparatus. CONSTITUTION:In a gas-liquid separator 4 having a bumping bed 9, a liquid containing gas passes a liquid rising pipe 4B through a helmet shaped trough 4A and is subjected to first gas-liquid separation treatment in a first gas-liquid separation flowline 4C. The separated gas is exhausted from a gas vent hole 4F while the liquid is subjected to second gas-liquid separation in a second gas- liquid separation flowline 4D. The gas separated herein is exhausted to the upper part through gas vent holes 4G, 4F while the liquid is passed through a separated liquid flowline 4E and sucked through an inner cylinder 5 by a circulation pump. By this apparatus, almost 100% gas-liquid separation is performed without lowering the pressure of the gas and the gas is sucked in the liquid flow-down inner cylinder 5 and the damage to the circulation pump is prevented. |
