PURPOSE:To start a half-bridge self-excited inverter by starting an inverter by a CR integrator and a trigger element, and discharging charge stored in a capacitor of the integrator to the collector of a transistor for the inverter after starting. CONSTITUTION:An inverter alternately conducts/interrupts a transistor (TR) 2 repeatedly by utilizing the magnetic saturation of a core of a base drive transformer 3, and a secondary rectifying diode (D) 6 is provided at the output side. When a DC voltage is applied to a capacitor (C) 1 of input side, a starting C11 is charged through a resistor 10, and when it reaches the trigger level of a starting trigger element 12, the charge stored in the C11 is abruptly discharged, injected to the base of the TR2, and the inverter is started. The stored charge of the C11 is discharged via the D13 for discharging at the operating time and the resistor 14 for discharging at the operating time before reaching the prescribed level. Thus, the half-bridged self-excited inverter is started, thereby reducing the size and weight of the power source and enhancing the efficiency. |
