PURPOSE:To exactly seal a ship with an oil fence by a method in which plates connected to the back end of an oil fence are provided in a vertically movable manner in relation to a dolphin and a tubular seal rubber to be pressingly touched by the ship is provided to the tip of the plates. CONSTITUTION:A tubular seal rubber 2 is attached to the tip of a plate 1 made of an elastic material, e.g., FRP, etc., and a float 3 and an auxiliary float 4 are attached to the plate 1. An oil fence 5 is connected to the back end of the plate 1. The plate 1 is vertically guided by a guide lever 6 supported on a dolphin D and anchors 12 on the bottom of sea. Repulsion force against impaction to be encountered when the ship S comes into contact with piers is effectuated by the softness of the seal rubber 2 to ensure the sealing of the ship S and the oil fence. |
