Stable aqueous emulsions of essential oils and/or liposoluble materials in water or a hydroalcoholic medium containing from 2 to 100 g/l of the said essential oils and/or liposoluble materials, characterised in that the said emulsions contain biliary salts as an emulsifying agent.
