PURPOSE:To display a picture of prescribed position clearly by making high speed double scanning of prescribed position of an object by an image pickup section and thereby adding output picture signals and improving S/N in a short time. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed position for which S/N of an object is to be improved is indicated by an operator to the S/N improvement controlling section 11 of a video equipment. On receiving this indication, a controlling section 11 controls an adder circuit 7 and a high speed scanning signal generator 10 according to the indication, and high speed scanning signals for doubly scanning the prescribed position are outputted from the generator 10. The high speed scanning signals are added to a visual field controller 9, and vertical and horizontal step motors 22, 23 are driven by output of the controller 9, and a scanning line 21 is scanned in one frame, and the section E-F is scanned at high speed 4 times. Doubly scanned part of the video signal outputted through a condensing lens 24 and an infrared-ray detector 5 is added in the circuit 7. Thus, S/N of a video signal is improved in a short time, and a clear picture is displayed on a display unit 8. |
