PURPOSE:To transfer a file having an optional format between nodes in a computer network by converting a file in an optional library format to a sequential file, and restoring a received file to the original format after transmitting this sequential file. CONSTITUTION:When various data on a library are read from a file 100 to a converter 2 in the transmitting node side of the computer network system, they are converted to a sequential file and are written in a storage part 21 and are transmitted to another node from a transmitter 1 through a communication line 3 and are received by a receiver 4. The received file is sent to a deconverter 5 and is written temporarily in a storage part 51. The deconverter 5 restores this file to a file in the original library format. |
