The invention relates to a device insulating the booth, not allowing sound to pass through the partition walls and guiding it from reflecting zones towards absorbent zones. It consists of a corridor booth assembly, having an entrance 1, a corridor 2, 9, 10 whose reflecting portion 2 guides the sound coming from the outside towards the absorbent curved portion 3 which is followed by a reflecting intersecting side wall 4 which reflects sound coming both from the outside and the inside in the direction of the absorbent zones 3, 5, 7 and ceiling; a return 5 absorbing from two sides contributes to the acoustic imperviousness of the reflecting booth 6 in which is placed an absorbent telephone console 7 which includes a fixed microphone, a fixed loudspeaker and the operating and payment system; the ceiling of this assembly is absorbent. A sheltered waiting area 8, outside, is attached to the assembly. <IMAGE>
