The invention relates to a device for communicating from the inside of one's apartment without having to open the access. The advantage of the device is simple installation: a drilling of diameter 10 mm on the door suffices for the installation; installation without wires; powered by battery. A visitor knocks at the door 18; the user switches on his device by means of the potentiometer 3. By means of the potentiometer 4, he questions the visitor by the intermediary of the microphone 6 which serves as a transmitter. On releasing the switch 4, the user is capable of receiving the visitor's message by the intermediary of the microphone 13. The microphones 6 and 13 serve as a transmitters or receivers depending on the position of the switch 4. The user can at this time judge, depending on the content of the message whether or not he wishes to receive the visitor. The device according to the invention, which is extremely simple to fit, is particularly intended for the peace and security of its users. <IMAGE>
