Magnetoelastic force sensing device (10) in which a machine part (16) is pivotably linked between two bearing points (17, 18) on a tubular bolt (11) of ferromagnetic material and which has in each case a measuring point (21, 22) between the force introduction point (19) and each bearing point (17, 18) in its interior. The sum of the signals of both measuring points is a measure of the force to be measured in the machine part (16). Changes in axial distance of the machine part (16) relatively to the bearing points (14, 15) and the associated changes in the transverse forces and shearing strains as a consequence of tolerances or deformations do not disturb the precision of the force measurement, since it is always the sum of the transverse forces or of their strains, and consequently the total force introduced by the machine part (16), which is determined. <IMAGE> |
