Antilocking control for vehicle brakes - has switching device between sensors and single-channel evaluation stage

The control uses at least two sensors associated with respective wheels or wheel groups providing signals representing the motion characteristics which are evaluated via an evaluation stage to supply an output signal for the brake pressure regulation device, for reducing the pressure to eliminate detected wheel skid. A change-over switch is inserted between each of the sensors and the evaluation stage, operated in a given rhythm for coupling the sensors to the single channel evaluation stage under normal conditions and responding to detected wheel slip to permanently couple the respective sensor to the evaluation stage until a stable velocity is restored.
