The housing 12 is provided with a bore 20 and an opening 22 which extends in the transverse direction relative to the bore 20 and intersects the latter. The actuating device 16 is in snap-on engagement with the housing 12 in order to hold the spring 14 in the opening 22. At least one part of the actuating device 16, for example the arm 30, is movable in the inward or outward direction of the opening 22 in order to vary the extent to which the spring 14 impedes the bore 20. The spring fastener 10 is used in particular in the removal or adjustment of headrests on the backrests of vehicle seats. Even if it is concealed by the upholstery on the backrest of the vehicle seat, the arm 30 can easily be squeezed in order to release the spring 14 from the lug ring extending downwards from the headrest. <IMAGE> |
