In this embodiment of a tent, the canvases covering the individual fields are guided by running rails 13 extending parallel to each other. The particular field can be opened and closed by moving a lateral edge. Since a running rail is vertically adjustable, the canvas can be tightly tensioned in the position of rest. An end face of the canvas 6 which stands perpendicularly to the running rails 13 is secured on the stationary bar 2 of the supporting frame, while the opposite end face is secured to a cross-piece 7 which supports a tensioning device 8 by means of which the canvas 6 is tensioned and the cross-piece 7 can be secured on the assigned bar 2 of the supporting frame. The canvases 6 masking the individual fields of the supporting frame are tightly tensioned in the horizontal and vertical directions by the embodiment according to the invention, when the field is closed. Since, during opening and closing of a field, the canvases are merely subject to a tension caused by their own weight, no particular expenditure of effort is needed. <IMAGE>
