Vehicle with a rear flap held by two hinges

In a rear-flap mounting for vehicles having a rear flap, the front edge of which extends concentrically to the curved contour of the rear window of the vehicle, the hinge consisting of a hinge bracket and of a hinge lever is fastened in a drip moulding which extends around the body aperture which can be covered by the rear flap. With regard to the rear flap, the arrangement of the hinges is such that they are located within the vertical projection of the rear flap in the foremost corner region. When the rear flap is opened, the corner region of the rear flap penetrates into the drip moulding in front of the hinge.
