<p>PURPOSE:To safely and economically perform the decomposition treatment of ozone by usual activated carbon, by mixing exhaust gas containing nitrogen gas exhausted from PSA as a main component with unreacted ozone to dilute said ozone. CONSTITUTION:Air after dust removal is sent into the pressure accumulated adsorbing tower 8 of a pressure swing type oxygen manufacturing apparatus by a blower 7 to adsorb only nitrogen by a molecular sieve 13 while oxygen is taken out to be received in a receiver 9 and used as a stock material in an ozone generation apparatus 2 to prepare ozonized gas by silent discharge. The ozonized gas is blown in water of a water treatment reaction tank 3 as gas bubbles to purify said water. The internal pressure of the adsorbing tower 8' of a desorbing process is lowered by a vacuum pump 11 and exhaust gas containing desobed nitrogen as a main component is sent into unreacted ozone after water treatment to be mixed therewith to dilute the same. Ozone and unreacted ozone lowered in oxygen concn. and having no possiblity of ignition are sent to an ozone decomposition tower 4 packed with usual activated carbon to be decomposed and discharged to the atmosphere.</p> |
