1533181 Thermoplastic compositions POLYSAR Ltd 16 Sept 1976 [19 Sept 1975] 38306/76 Heading C3M Compositions comprise (A) 70-40 parts of a halogenated rubber selected from bromobutyl and brominated or chlorinated ethylene/propylene/ethylidene norbornene terpolymer rubber and (B) 30-60 parts of a solid high molecular weight polyolefin in which the olefin is predominantly ethylene or propylene. The compositions may contain fillers, e.g. carbon black, and may be lightly cross-linked, e.g. with an organic peroxide and/or maleimide. They may be compression or injection moulded to form paintable decorative trims for cars. A preferred polyolefin is polypropylene. |
