PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the amount of water content in a liquid sample intactly and conveniently, by providing a sample vaporizing part, and directly measuring the amount of water content in the liquid sample. CONSTITUTION:From a dry carrier-gas feeding part 1 comprising a gas bomb 12 and a drier 11, a gas is continuously fed into a humidity measuring cell 2 through a sample vaporizing part 3, a high-boiling-point-component separating part 4, and a gas dehumidifying flow path 6. In gas flow path 5, the dehumidifying flow path 6, which is branched from a valve 62 and connected to the flow path 5 through a dehumidifier 61 and a valve 63, is provided. The evaporating part 3 comprises a liquid-sample injecting port 31, a cylindrical cavity part 32, and a heating part 33. The cavity part 32 forms a part of a gas flow path. The output of the cell 2 and the output of a contrasting humidity measuring cell 2' are subtracted by a mixer amplifier. Then the amount of water content is displayed on a digital display part 77. |
