PURPOSE:To obtain the structural strength and excellent heat transfer effect by a method wherein groove parts and crest parts extended toward the longer direction are provided on the outer surface of a heat accumulating vessel, and the longer direction of the heat accumulating vessel is arranged to intersect at right angle with the flowing direction of a heating medium which is flowed outside of the heat accumulating vessel. CONSTITUTION:Groove parts 3 and crest parts 2 extended toward the longer direction of a heat accumulating vessel are provided at both of upper and lower surfaces of the heat accumulating vessel 1 having a flat-shaped structure. The 3-10mm. pitch (p) and the 1-6mm. depth (d) are desirable for the crest parts 2. The outer and inner surfaces of those groove parts 3 and crest parts 2 are desirable to be structured in paralleled waving manner. By such a structure, the thinner thickness and more excellent heat transfer performance can be achieved compared with the structure of which crest parts 2 is thick and whole inner surface is uniformly plane. When the longer direction of the heat accumulating vessel 1 is arranged to intersect at right angles with the flowing direction of the heating medium which is flowed outside of the heat accumulating vessel, the vortex of the heating medium is generated inside of the grooves 3, thereby, the heat transfer efficiency at the outside surface side is increased exceedingly. |
