PURPOSE:To provide make precise for machining a spherical surface on the internal peripheral face of a work by adopting a simple constitution such that while a machine tool is rotated, a machine tip is swung. CONSTITUTION:In a rotary machine tool 41, a swingable piece 46 is equipped swingably on its forward section, by a fitting pin 46, and a machining tip 42 is equipped removably on its head section. The machining tip 42 is swung by a swingable piece 47 through a link 52 by the fact that an operating rod 43 is displaced in the X axis direction. A locus alpha of the tip 42 resulted from the swing is always constant corresponding to a swinging radius r, however, a locus beta resulted from rotations is changed in accordance with the swinging position of the tip 42. Therefore, a locus obtained by swinging the swingable piece 47 while rotating the machine tool 41, becomes a sphere with the radius r whereby a spherical surface machining of a work W is accomplished. |
