[Also in Division F4] In a gas flow regulator 1 for a burner 6 and comprising a housing having an upper part 5 and a lower part 2 containing an annular member having parts therein which cooperate with radially-offset parts in a rotatably adjustable annular collar 7 to form a valve to control gas flow through the housing, the housing is provided with a scale 9 cooperating with a mark 8 on collar 7, the mark and scale preferably being adhered after installation and calibration of the regulator, such that the gas flow can be regulated for different standardised gases. The collar is locked in position by a ring segment 10 with hook 10' extending into groove 2" in lower part 2 and with end 10" extending into one of the grooves 7' in collar 7, a screw 11 covered by cap 12 clamping the segment 10 in place and the cap 12 being sealed by seal wire 13. As in Figs. 2 and 5 (not shown) two clamps (15) may be provided on lower part 2 together with a cam (16) fixed to the collar to limit adjustment of the collar.</p> |
