PURPOSE:To correct the warpage of two or more electrode units and comprise an even flat electrode surface then obtain a fine screen without lateral lines or color ununiformities by inserting the two or more electrode units between a vertical deflection and the electrode pressing glass. CONSTITUTION:A cathode 2, vertical focusing electrode, and vertical deflection electrode 4 are assembled in a fixed frame 27, a unit 26 baked and integrated from an electron beam flow control electrode to a horizontal deflection electrode is inserted onto it. Besides, an electrode is fixed on the upper surface of the horizontal deflection electrode while it is being inserted by electrode pressing glass 29 to correct the warpage of the electrode or insert the electrode. As a result, even if warpage occurs in the electrode, the electrode surface becomes flat because the warpage is corrected and the electrode is inserted. Furthermore, since the electrode is inserted over the whole surface other than a section 30 through which the electron beam passes, the entire electrode is evenly pressed in instead of local insertion and no uneven electrode surface is generated. The electrode pressing glass can be arranged to be opposed to the vertical deflection electrode. |
