PURPOSE:To adjust the original position of a head easily and finely by providing a moving body which moves a head support member, a means which displaces the head support member to and from the moving body nearly in a head moving direction, and a means which adjusts the amount of the displacement. CONSTITUTION:The moving body 29 is formed in a U-shape and consits of a base part 30 extended facing the base part 19 of a head support body 18 nearly in parallel, and bent parts 31 and 32, and this body 29 holds the support body 18 and is attached movably on a support shaft 36 through the support body. The support body 18 is held on the moving body 29 movably in the axial direction of the base part 19, and the support part 18 is shaifted in position for the moving body 29 by the variation of a coil spring 39 as the displacing means according to the rotation of an adjusting screw 39. When an origin adjustment is made, the adjusting screw 40 is rotated while a reference sheet is reproduced to move the support body 18 back and forth finely to and away from the moving body 29, and it is stopped where the reproduced signal has a maximum level. This position is the origin position of the magnetic head 21. |
