PURPOSE:To save the consumption power of a motor for driving a blower, by a method wherein the front air pressure of a burner, ensuring a given air amount, is ensured at each heating zone, and the number of revolutions of a blower is controlled so that a pressure loss, incurred by a flow rate regulating valve at each heating zone, is minimized. CONSTITUTION:Given air flow rates Q1-Q3 at heating zones 41-43, respectively, based on an air-fuel ratio set by an air-fuel ratio setter 8 are inputted to pressure loss/optimum air pressure computing devices 1-2 respectively mounted according to the heating zones to compute an optimum air pressure PH. A maximum value out of optimum air pressures PH is selected as an air pressure desired value with the aid of a maximum pressure selector 3, the limitation of an upper and a lower limit is effected by the upper and lower limit limiter 9 to input the result to a PID computer 10, and a header pressure in a blast duct 6 is inputted to perform PID computation. A PID computing output is inputted to a controller 12 for the number of revolutions through a D/A converter 11, and an air pressure desired value is achieved through control of the number of revolutions of a motor for driving a blower. |
