Non-distructive testing - for plastic combinations using infra-red heat and holography

The holograms are made, using conventional techniques, before, during and after the application of infrared heat to give an accurate record of the homogenous structure of reinforced plastics and plastic laminates, particularly plastic-clad steel to show whether adhesion is satisfactory. The process can be used for finished and semi-finished products, also under operational stresses.
