<p>PURPOSE:To enable the driving of a plurality of common circuits with the stabilization of a stray current at a small value by applying a bias voltage to the line to which no drive voltage is applied to absorb the stray current or overlap a current thereon. CONSTITUTION:A resistance at the part of a voltage printing line where no switch is ON, a resistance identical thereto in the horizontal line where the voltage in the vertical line is not applied and a resistance at the part of horizontal line where the pertinent switch is ON forms a closed loop through the power source E1 and a switch, and a stray current flows. So, a drive voltage E1 is obtained by the series connection of the power source of the bias voltage E2 and the power source of the voltage DELTAE. The bias voltage E2 is applied to the line to which the drive voltage is not applied to get the stray current absorbed by the bias power source or to get a bias current overlapping the stray current thereby stabilizing the stray current. Thus, a plurality of heat generating lines can be driven with a common circuit, which enables the miniaturization of a heat generating head without use of any diode.</p> |
