PURPOSE:To obtain a better printing quality by memorizing whether heat generating resistors were operated to heat or not for the preceding dots individually into a signal processing circuit to reduce the energizing time for subsequent dots only with respect to the heat generating resistors operated. CONSTITUTION:A monostable multivibrator circuit 12 is triggered at the rising of a print timing signal T1 outputted simultaneously with a printing data (a), monostable multivibrator circuits 13 and 14 are triggered at the rising of the output pulse T4 thereof and a monostable multivibrator circuit 15 is triggered at the falling of the output pulse T5. When a microprocessor 11 detects ''H'' of the T1 during the printing operation, an input printing data is stored into a memory 1 and then, outputted from P1-P7 to start a printing operation. With the detection of H of the T3, the contents of the memory 1 are transferred to a memory 2 to end the printing operation and with ''H'' of the T2, the contents of the memory 2 is inverted and the results of with the contents of the memory 1 are outputted to the P1-P7 to halt the energization of the heat generating resistor operated to heat for preceding dots thereby reducing the energizing time for the subsequent dots. |
