PURPOSE:To enable the operation of a mirror housing handily and quickly not resisting against a spring force of a tension spring by interposing a zigzaged spring compressed between the neutral plate and the mirror base of a door mirror. CONSTITUTION:A control lever 29 is lifted up to pull a wire 25 against a spring force of a compressed spring 23 so that the free end of the neutral plate 16 is held abbuting on a base plate 3. At this position, a mirror housing 6 housing a mirror 9 is upright at the using position thereof. Under such a condition, when the front of a door mirror 4 hits an outside object under running, a hinge 10 receiving a force F turns backward on a rear shaft 12. When receiving an outside force on the rear face thereof under backward runing, the door mirror 4 turns forward against a spring force of a tension spring 14 centering a front shaft 11. |
