PURPOSE:To obtain an inkjet head which performs a normal recording with a lower discharge pressure by building up a main body section with an ink discharge port of a water repelling material to improve the ink wetting in the inner wall of the ink discharge port. CONSTITUTION:The body 1 of a head is made of a fluorocarbon resin of PTFE and the inner wall 4 of an ink discharge hole 2 is improved in the ink wetting by surface treatment. With such an arrangement, the body 1 of the head has a water repelling property to eliminate excess ink attached near the ink discharge hole 2, allowing ink to fly normally even under a low discharge pressure. On the other hand, as the inner wall 4 of the ink discharge hole 2 is improved in the ink wetting by surface treatment, ink can fill evenly the inner wall portion of the ink discharge hole 2 without being repelled disregarding the body made of the water repelling material thereby eliminating possible breakage of ink or the like. |
