BURNER AIR CONTROLLER FOR DIESEL EXHAUST EMISSION CONTROL DEVICE

PURPOSE:To make a rate of weight flow of secondary air so as to keep constant in an accurate manner, by installing an escape valve and a flow control valve being controlled by atmospheric pressure and/or atmospheric temperature, in an air passage ranging from an air pump to a regenerating burner. CONSTITUTION:An air flow passage 21 makes the air discharged out of a positive displacement air pump 11 flow into a regenerating burner 4 of a Diesel particulate filter 5. An escape valve 34 makes a part of inflow air into a flow control vavle 23 discharge into the atmosphere so as to cause pressure inside the air flow passage at the inflow side of the flow control valve 23 to become constant in terms of gauge pressure. And, the flow control valve 23 controls an area of the air flow passage according to a pressure signal and/or a temperature signal inside the flow passage.
