WATER DRAINING STRUCTURE OF DRIP FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To prevent the rain water that is impossible to drain from staying in the drip so as to improve the water draining performance by arranging the upper end of a drain port that is either lower than or in the same plane as other part of the drip bottom. CONSTITUTION:A drip 2 which is integrally fromed with an outer panel 3 of a roof panel 1 has a downward embossment 8 having a suitable depth, and the embossment 8 has a drain port approximately in its center. The drain port 4 also penetrates the mating end 6a of an inner panel 6 of the roof panel 1. An L-shaped drain pipe 9 is fixedly attached to the drain port 4 in such a manner that the height of its upper end 9a is lowr than the bottom 2a of other parts of the drip 2. Sealing material 10 is filled in a space formed by the upper end 9a and embossment 8 to a height where the upper surface 10 a is lower than the bottom 2a.
