PURPOSE:To prevent the lack of thickness of a surface skin by a method in which a surface skin material and a core material having a projection matching the surface skin material are set in molds, and raw materials of polyurethane foam are injected into the molds closed. CONSTITUTION:A core material 7, consisting of a metal or rigid or reinforced plastic material, and a surface skin material 5 are set with a given spacing in molds 1 and 1'. A projection 8 is formed at a place corresponding to an inlet 1a for the raw materials of polyurethane foam. The raw materials of polyurethane foam to be injected into the molds 1 and 1' through the inlet 1a by a high- pressure injector 3 flows through a runner 6 and a gate 9 into the cavity and then uniformly supplied into the cavity by the projection 8. The core material, the surface skin material, and polyurethane foam can thus be integrally bonded with each other when the raw materials of the polyurethane foam are reacted and expanded. |
