PURPOSE:To disperse frequency components of an engine vibration and thereby reduce a vibration level by successively changing the amount of an ignition timing lead angle and an air-fuel ratio, etc., at a reduced cylinder operation of a cylinder number control engine and thereby a peak value and a peak point of combustion pressure. CONSTITUTION:Various operation state signals from an intake air negative pressure sensor 27, a throttle degree-of-opening sensor 29, and an ignition coil 28, etc., are inputted to a control device 25 of a cylinder number control engine to determine the number of working cylinders. In a reduced cylinder number operation, the amount of an ignition lead angle of an ignition signal to the ignition coil 28 or an ignition timing signal and injection amount signal to a combustion injection valve 7, etc., are successively changed and thereby a peak point or peak value of combustion pressure are changed. Hereby, a vibration level at the reduced cylinder operation can be reduced. |
