PURPOSE:To feed such air as being suitable for fuel to be sprayed to the inside of a cylinder, by changing the capacity of a tank coupled with a suction pipe according to a load state, and thereby varing suction air quantity by means of inertial supercharging. CONSTITUTION:At a high load range where an accelerator is strongly stepped on, fuel to be sprayed to the inside of an engine comes much enough but a partition plate 6 is moved according to a step-on extent of the accelerator, making an equalizer 1 small in its capacity. In contrast with this, at a low load range, the capacity of the equalizer 1 is made to be larger. A position of the partition plate 6 is determined by a detector 17 of throttle opening commensurate to the step-on extent of the accelerator and a position sensor 21, while shifting of the partition plate 6 takes place by means of air out of an air tank against a spring. |
