PURPOSE:To enhance the running stability at high speed running by a method wherein the turning radius is made smaller in accordance with the running conditions by controlling a solenoid valve in response to an input signal sent from a hydraulic sensor arranged in the hydraulic system of a power steering. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 54 is electrically connected to the solenoid coil of a solenoid valve 50 in order to control the valve 50 by opening and closing in response to the input signal sent from a vehicular speed sensor 56 and from a hydraulic sensor arranged in the hydraulic piping 55 of a power steering 15 in order to make the turning radius smaller in accordance with the running conditions. Concretely, when a truck 10 runs at low speed, the tank port 51 of the solenoid valve 50 is closed by the signal sent from the vehicular speed sensor 56 under the control of the control unit 54, resulting in connecting a cylinder port to an exhaust port. |
