PURPOSE:To prevent ignition energy in high speed rotation from reduction by igniting alternatively in each cylinder during each ignition timing of an engine when the ignition is carried out by a plurality of coils. CONSTITUTION:Ignition distributing signals D, D' are same in the median and low speed of an engine and ignite ignition coils 3a, 3b simultaneously in the same cylinders. In the high speed of the engine the ignition change-over signal C divides the frequency of the ignition signal A' to supply the ignition distributing signal D to a power switching element 6a and the ignition distributing signal D' reversed from this distributing signal D to a power switching element 6b. Thus, the ignition coils 3a, 3b are ignited alternatively to provide sufficient primary energizing current for the ignition coil over the whole rotational frequency of the engine. |
