PURPOSE:To enable electrical taking out of the result of measurement by providing a pair of pressure receiving elements, a means for detecting displacement which measures the extent at which said elements moves from a reference position and an arithmetic means which calculates the specific gravity of a liquid to be measured from the detection signal thereof. CONSTITUTION:A pair of pressure receiving elements 4 and 5 are supported by a support 6 so that the elements 4 and 5 as well as the support 6 are communicated with each other and that a liquid having known specific gravity is filled in the inside. A means for detecting the extent of the movement of the elements 4 and 5 is provided to the support 6. Said means is so constituted as to measure the extent of the movement of the elements 4 and 5 by, for example, a change in the inductance of a coil. The change rate of the specific gravity is calculated from the signal concerning the extent at which the pressure receiving surfaces of the elements 4 and 5 move and said rate is added to the reference specific gravity rhoo in an operator 15. The specific gravity of the liquid to be measured is thus electrically taken out. |
