PURPOSE:To provide the titled water-based ink having excellent water resistance and light resistance of the recorded image, and suitable as an ink-jet recording with black color tone, by using a mixture of specific dyes composed of a group of CI Direct Blue 106, etc. and a group of CI Direct Yellow 28, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective water-based ink is produced by compounding a mixture of (A) one or more dyes selected from the group of CI Direct Blue 106, 200, 202, 203, 248 and CI Direct Green 63 and (B) one or more dyes selected from CI Direct Yellow 28, 44, 144, CI Direct Orange 62 and CI Direct Red 81, 89, 95, 107, 221 and 225 (preferably a combination of a dye from the group A and CI Direct Yellow or CI Direct Red from the group B), with water, a wetting agent, an antiseptic mildewproofing agent, and if necessary, a solubilizing agent, a pH-regulator and a viscosity regulator. |
