PURPOSE:To detect inclination with simple, inexpensive constitution by positioning the center of a spherical body which has high magnetic permeability when not slanting and a magnetism detecting means almost on the same axis with the circular section of a magnet. CONSTITUTION:An inclination detector has circular section and is provided with the magnet which is magnetized in the axial direction of the section, the spherical body 2 which is made of nickel or iron having high magnetic permeability and rolls freely, and a reed switch 3 as the magnetism detecting means which operates with lines of magnetic forces from the magnet 1. Then, the position of the spherical body 2 which has high magnetic permeability when not slanting and the magnetism detecting means are arranged almost on the same axis with the circular section of the magnet 1 to detect inclination with the simple, inexpensive constitution without using any special bearing. |
