PURPOSE:To dissolve a scatter of toner and the ground staining of an image surface due to the sticking of toner particles to a bearing part, and maintain stable operation even after maintenance inspection by using a normagnetic body for the holding member for a rotating roll. CONSTITUTION:The rotating roll 6 is made of the nonmagnetic material so as to eliminate evil influence upon a latent image on a photosensitive surface, and aluminum, etc., are normally used for weight reduction, simultanously. Further, the rotating roll 6 and a nonmagnetic material used for the bearing for the rotating roll 6 should have large mechanical strength and workability. In this case, an antifriction bearing is preferably used to maintain a fine gap with high preciaion. The bearing for the rotating roll is made of the nonmagnetic material to eliminate the sticking of the developer to the bearing during maintenance inspection, and the amount of recession of the rotating roll is therefore reduced to obtain a compact driving device for the rotating roll. |
